Heidi Gottlieb, Director, Founder

Ms. Gottlieb professionally is owner of a Transitional Career Coaching business, Life Coaching Matters; she helps people become their empowered selves. She was inspired to become a coach because of her own life experiences. In addition, she has over 20 years experience in commercial television production and marketing and has produced hundreds of television commercials. Through this experience she has developed the skills and contacts necessary to successfully run and promote a not-for-profit organization.  She is also a 30-year brain tumor survivor, which gives her a personal connection to Brain Matters.  Ms. Gottlieb is primarily responsible for running the organization; her duties include long-term planning, day-to-day operations, and fundraising.

Jamie Pillet, Fundraising Coordinator

Ms. Pillet professionally is a talent agent at the A3 Artists Agency in New York. She is extremely connected and responsible for many well-known emerging artists as in the film and theater community. She contributes to the development and implementation of the overall fundraising strategy and success for Brain Matters.

Rachel Griffin, Director, Treasurer

Ms. Griffin professionally is a film and documentary producer.  She is extremely well connected to the world of actors and filmmakers, which helps enable her to promote Brain Matters and the annual fundraisers.  She has produced several highly acclaimed award-winning documentaries.  Her primary duties involve marketing and fundraising.

Jonathan Pillet, Director, Secretary

Mr. Pillet professionally is design director for upcoming newsite WhoWhatWhy after being an art director at The Wall Street Journal for 18 years.  He is experienced in web design and computer technology.  He is primarily responsible for maintaining the Brain Matters website.  He is also the husband of a 29-year brain tumor survivor.
